Hunt Power Announces Name Change to MeterSmart

DALLAS, Texas, March 16, 2007 - Hunt Power L.P. announced today that it is changing its name to MeterSmart. The change aligns the company's strategic vision with its leading brand, MeterSmart. Hunt Power's meter data management division has operated under the MeterSmart name since 2000 when it became the first competitive metering service provider in the state of Texas. MeterSmart has since expanded its meter data management presence into a national footprint.

The company will transition to the new name over the next month. During the transition period, both names will appear in advertising and corporate communications. In addition, the company will be changing its URL from www.huntpower.com to www.metersmart.com. During the transition period website requests and emails to huntpower.com will automatically be redirected to the new URL, metersmart.com. MeterSmart continues to be privately owned and controlled by Hunt Consolidated, Inc.
